Kouri Island and Heart Rock

Kouri island itself was very small. We drove the entire perimeter in about 45 minutes, going very slowly and stopping to sight see and take pictures along the way. There is the Kouri Ocean Tower 800Y, child up to elementary age free. Yen only for the entrance. Shops & Restaurant take Card. 9am - 6pm. We didn't get the chance to go up in it because it was packed when we were there. I'll update with pictures and reviews when we go back.

If you're a diver this island does have the USS Emmons Dive Spot accessible by Piranha Divers Okinawa. Again not something we did since neither of us dive.

Heart Rock is dog friendly (but they do have their own dogs on property that were very vocal). 300Y to park per hour.

They had bathrooms at the parking area.

The path way down to the beach area was a little narrow and slightly rocky but not horrible.

The beach to the right of the bridge when you first pull onto the island was nice and relatively empty. Dog friendly as well and did have a little bit of seaglass but not much. I looked to be a spot for local fisherman.
