This is supposed to be the biggest light display on island for Christmas lights. They had several food vendors when you first walk in as well as a few with games for littler kids. Train rides and trampolines for kids as well, both lit up with lights. Inside the building they had a few other “stations” with activities for kids. One looked like you drew/colored a picture and they animated it for you and displayed it on the wall.

Stroller friendly.

Not dog friendly.

This was the schedule for 2017.

Itoman Peaceful Illumination 6pm -10pm, (2017) Dec 16 - Jan 3. (Concert, fireworks & live performances on Dec 25th) 500¥ for adult, Child Free.

Some of the vendor tents by the entrance.

The walkway out of the garden building.

They had the inside of this garden building completely lit up.

The trampoline.

The train for the kids.

About Me

My husband and I are currently stationed in Okinawa Japan and love traveling and exploring new places. Pet parents to a fat cat named Felix and a crazy boxer named Hades. We're currently expecting our first daughter, Mia, who we can't wait to show the world to.

I love writing and taking way too many photos so I figured I would give this whole blog thing a shot. My goal is to back track everything we've done and seen here in Okinawa and our trip to Tokyo and then all our future trips as well. This is all new to me so bare with me while we get started with this whole experience.

I would love to pass on all of our information of places we've explored, restaurants and cafes we've eaten at, and events we've attended all in one easy to navigate place!
